Registering or connecting a domain name
Three cases: a new name, a domain you already have, or later.

A new name
Coming soon: the name is added to your subscription at the registration price, whatever the plan. Availability and price are checked when you choose, then checked again before registration. You remain the registered holder of the domain; we collect the information the registry requires. If the name is no longer available, we suggest an alternative before anything is registered. No purchase is made without your agreement. The refund terms will be published with the terms of sale, before launch.
An existing domain
You prove that you control it, then we tell you which records to create with your provider. Your other services (email, for example) remain intact.
Later
Without a domain, you keep the editor and the private preview. Publishing is simply blocked, with an explanation and the action to take. On Free, the site is published on an Arko address of the form your-site.arko-web.fr.
- Renewing the domain is separate from the site subscription.
- A paid-for domain is not yet a ready domain: going live waits for the HTTPS certificate.
